Biography
As a previously self-confessed “foot phobic”, reflexology would undoubtedly appear to be a surprising career choice. However, due to a somewhat bizarre chain of events, I have discovered a new respect and total appreciation for feet.
Having achieved a BA hons in linguistics from the United Kingdom, I moved to Canada in 1999; I trained as a Child and Youth Worker and have spent the last five years working as an educational assistant, working with children with special needs.
Having three children under the age of five – a four-year-old daughter and two-year-old twin boys, there are days when I can truly identify with the meaning of stress and the repercussions it can have on one’s body. I was introduced to reflexology at a relatively young age but it is only in recent years that I have fully appreciated and understood its therapeutic benefits which facilitate physical, mental, emotional and spiritual healing and well–being.
I feel privileged to have been given the opportunity to work in the therapeutic environment of Lambeth Chiropractic Clinic. I look forward to offering my future clients the experience of blissful relaxation combining the restoration of harmony and balance that reflexology can offer, in order that we can face life in a more positive manner.
