Rebecca Marks, RMT

Becky is passionate about treating people from a whole body perspective.   She strives to fit the pieces of the puzzle together to address the core issues that may be causing irregular functioning or pain.   She believes emotional health, diet and physical health all impact how our body functions and need to be considered when treating clients.  Her goal is to incorporate this perspective into her practice.

Becky was involved in a serious motor vehicle accident several years ago and through her own rehabilitation became very intrigued and passionate about the mechanics of the human body and how it functions.   She has always wanted to be in the healthcare field and knew she wouldn’t be fulfilled in her past career.  She obtained her BA, teaching degree and Masters to find herself working in mental health and addictions for 10 years when she decided to leave her job to fulfill her dreams.  Becky completed her Registered Massage Therapy training with honors and successfully passed her board exams with the College of Massage Therapist of Ontario (CMTO).

Becky loves to learn and hopes to find herself back in the classroom teaching anatomy and other health driven courses in conjunction with her massage practice.  She is eager to expand her knowledge and will be taking several training advancements including active release therapy and fascial stretch therapy.  She also looks forward to becoming a certified CPR instructor.

In her spare time, Becky can be found spending time with her family and friends.  She is a dog mom to Jack, her 110lb husky-shepherd and loves being outside exercising him.  Becky looks forward to meeting you and working with you towards your healthcare goals.
